Paati I am so shocked and sad. I remember working with you at St Mary's and you guys were just dating and you were in nursing school....it's been years since I have seen you...can't forget beautiful people like you guys .


To Paati, Francine, Natalee, Damian and all the Amaro family, my deepest sympathy and condolences.  I will always remember Dan with his beautiful smile.  Dan was caring, loving, humble and saw the best in everyone he touched.  Always welcoming with affection and his warm smile.  He will always be in my thoughts and prayers along with all the family.  May the perpetual light always shine upon him and forever rest in eternal peace.  I loved Dan, a great husband, father, son, uncle, hard worker and friend  and who will never be forgotten.





I am the sister of Dan's brother in law,  Peter. We got to know Dan through various family events and were always struck by the kindness of Dan and Paati. Dan always offered a warm smile to you that made you feel welcome and cared for. He was a man of faith, to the credit of his loving parents and being raised in a home valuing faith and love as their cornerstone.  It was clear that Dan and Paati continued the tradition in their home.  On hearing of Dan's illness,  we began praying and sought the prayers of friends in our community.  Dan was recieving prayers far and wide. We offer our sincerest condolences to Paati and their children, and to each member of the Amaro family. May God, in his kindness and mercy console you. 

Brother we will never forget you, nor cease praying for you.  Love never fades. Heaven is our goal, pray for us and we will pray for you. 

I am really sad that tio Dan is gone but I know he’s not suffering anymore. One memory I have is at my wedding, they played foot loose and tio dan and tia Paati started doing the dance and I picked up on it and I was going to stop and he looked at me and said, “keep going, you got it,” and started dancing with me laughing. Another one is when I went to his house, he always offered food, drinks and anything and when we were over for an event, there was something that had happened that everyone got upset over and he just sat back and said, “I’ll wait to see what happens“ and with his contagious laugh he sat down in the living room and watched everything. He also opened his home to me with tia Paati for Christmas or whenever I wanted. I love you tio. Thank you!

I am in shock and devastated for your loss.  You were an individual who always put people's feelings first.  You were kind, loving, and your  faith was amazing.  As you are now joined with your mother, may you protect your loved ones.   My condolences to the Amaro family and your wife and children.   

God alone can heal the sadness in my heart at the loss of Dan. May we all turn to our Savior at this time of grieving. May the angels welcome Dan to paradise and may he see the face of the Lord this day...AMEN
