Daniel P Salazar

Daniel P Salazar, age 99, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Daniel was born February 22, 1922 in Roswell, New Mexico. Daniel was World War II Army Veteran and Pearl Harbor Survivor. He retired from Davis monthan Air Force Base as a Civil Service Worker after 36 years.

Daniel is survived by his son Lionel Salazar (Michelle); and his daughter Jane Contreras; his grandson Joshua Contreras, his grandson Jason Contreras, his grandson Steven Salazar , his grandson James Contreras (Deceased) , his granddaughter Stephanie Steeno, his great grandson Joshua Contreras, his great grandson Robert Torrez, his great grandson Jaydon Contreras, his great grandson Eli Contreras, his great granddaughter Juliette Rodriguez, his great grandson Atlas Salazar, his great granddaughter Thaleia Salazar, his great grandson Nick Steeno and his great granddaughter Grace Steeno.

Daniel was preceded in death by his spouse Emily Salazar after 54 years of marriage.

A funeral service for Daniel will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 215 S. Craycroft Rd., Tucson, AZ 85711.

Daniel will be laid to rest in All Faiths Cemetery, 2151 S Avenida Los Reyes, Tucson, AZ 85748.
