David Olguin

David lived a life defined by strength, faith, and perseverance. A dedicated barber and wildland firefighter, he was known for his hardworking spirit and his ability to take on any challenge that came his way. He was a fighter in every sense of the word—there wasn’t a battle he wouldn’t face head-on. Through the many trials he encountered in life, David remained resilient, always rising as a warrior who refused to give up.

Above all, David was an incredible father who loved his children with his whole heart. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his family, cherishing every moment with them. Those who knew him will remember his deep loyalty, his gratitude for life, and his powerful presence. David had a remarkable sense of humor and an infectious personality; he was often the life of the party, making others laugh and feel welcome wherever he went. Strong-willed and outspoken, he never hesitated to speak his mind and stand by what he believed.

David also had a special place in his heart for his beloved puppy son, George, and for the many friends who became like family to him. When David loved, he loved wholeheartedly.

He is survived by his daughters, Mila Leilani Olguin and Yuki Olguin Morando; his sons, Viggo Olguin and David Antonio Olguin, Jr.; his mother, Myrna Olguin; his brother, Eduardo Olguin; his sisters, Yariela Ortiz, Lorraine Olguin, and Diana Olguin; and numerous friends who will forever cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Olguin Martinez.

Visitation and services will be held from Friday, March 20, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. to Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel South Lawn, 5401 S. Park Ave, Tucson, AZ.

David will be remembered as a devoted father, loving son and brother, loyal friend, and a man whose strength, humor, and heart left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. His legacy of love, courage, and resilience will live on through his children, family, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
