Born April 5th. 1920 in Little Rock, Arkansas.,died February 21, 2012 at her family home in Tucson, Arizona. Della is survived by her husband Robert, daughter Dorothy Ann (Ted Carnevale), sons Robert Jr. and Russell ( Donna) and 5 grandchildren, Brian, Tony, Jessica, Kyle and Julia.
Della and Robert moved to Tucson in 1959. Della then received her Masters Degree from the University of Arizona, and taught at Blenman Elementary until retiring in 1987. She treasured her many friends from Blenman, and often reflected on her wonderful students. Della, spent her life nurturing and caring for her children and grandchildren. As she cherished them they will all continue to love and cherish her memory through their families. A memorial service is planned at 10:00 am on March 3rd. at the small Chapel at Catalina United Methodist Church on East Speedway.
