Dolores “Lola” Brito 95, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday November 7, 2015. She was born in the history rich town or Harshaw, AZ on March 26, 1920. Lola was the second oldest of 9 children and the oldest of 7 girls. She would often refer to herself and her sisters as the constellation “Pleiades” also known as “The Seven Sisters” they are all very close and Lola loved them all until her passing. Lola was married to Ralph Brito and he preceded her in death in 1972. Together they had 9 children of which Ralph Brito Jr., also preceded her in death. Lola is survived by her children Adela (Pepe) Perez, Josephine (Pancho) Perez, David (Lily) Brito, Connie (Alex) Grijalva Patricia Brito, Juan Brito, Dolores Cota, Beatrice “Naomi” Brito. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was the Matriarch of our family and the glue that held it together, “Gram you will be missed terribly.” Funeral arrangements will be held at Funeraria Del Angel South Lawn on Monday November 16, 2015 7:30 – 9:30 am visitation with a rosary to start at 8:30. Mass will be held at St. Augustine Cathedral at 10:30am with interment to follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
