Donald M. Fischer

Donald M. Fischer, 85, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Libby Fischer, his daughters, Joy Fischer (Robert) Williams and Melany (Michael) Freedman, his grandchildren, Marley Faye and Samuel Clay Williams and Faith Freedman, his brother Seymour, and his many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mr. Fischer worked as an auditor and comptroller for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union for 40 years. Devoted husband, father and grandfather, he enjoyed woodworking and watching his grandchildren grow up, boasting about each of them with such pride, often seen around town wearing his #1 Zayde cap!

Funeral Services will be held at EAST LAWN PALMS

MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd. at 12:00 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2016.

A shiva minyan will be held at the home of Joy Fischer Williams, 6931 N. Solaz Tercero, Tucson, Arizona 85718 on Sunday, August 21st at 6:00 p.m. and Monday, August 22nd at 5:00 p.m.
