

Donna was born on November 2,1932 in Silver Creek, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Gene Alvin Friede, her parents Glenn Orville Rebuck and Awilda Faye (Burns) Rebuck, her sister Glenda Faye (Rebuck) Brindley, and a granddaughter Stacy Rae (Wichman) Boyette.
She is survived by her children Marcia Lindsay, Richard (Glenda) Burow, Kurt Friede, Kent Friede, Darin (Sandy)Friede and Gina (Friede)Troie.
Her grandchildren, Michelle, Angela, Melissa, Andrea, Rachelle, Jason, Brianne, David, Brittney, Alyssa, Kayla, and Hailey, many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.
Donna and Gene met in 1961 from a mutual friend. Gene asked Donna if she would like to go to the Syracuse Ballroom. Donna hesitated at first, but decided to go. She danced with Gene all night long and seven months later they were married. Donna and Gene loved dancing, traveling, and spending time with family. Donna and Gene lived in Nebraska, Arizona, Northern California, Northern Nevada, and Hawaii, before returning to Tucson.
Donna was a strong, energetic, and loving mother with many talents. She wore many hats over the years as a working mom; factory, retail, Avon and other door-to-door sales, including Pima copper mine south of Tucson.
Her presence will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
