

Cunningham, Edwin H. was born in Newburg , WV November 16, 1924 and died in Chandler, AZ May 6, 2015. He was 90 years old. He is preceded by his wife Georgie. He is survived by his son Robert and his wife Julie. He survived by daughter Sarah Natale and son-in-law Anthony Natale. He is also survived by two grandchildren Jake and Olivia Natale. He is also survived by his brother Miles, and sister Betty. He lived in Arizona 49 years mostly in Tucson, Arizona. He was a World War II Vet and served as a medic in the Army in the South Pacific. He graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan with bachelors in chemistry and a Master’s in Education from the University of West Virginia. He worked for Vanadium Corporation in New Haven, West Virginia as a metallurgist for 16 years. He met his wife Georgie in a group called the grads in West Virginia. He married Georgie on May 7, 1965. Edwin and his wife Georgie moved for her health to Tucson, Arizona. He got a job at Anamax Copper Mining Company where he would work from 1966 to 1982. He would reach the ranks of Assistant Chief Chemist. From 1984 till about 2001, he worked for the Tucson Foundry as a chemist. Edwin and Georgie raised two children Robert and Sarah. He became a grandpa in 2002. He was married 46 years before Georgie passed in 2011. He was unfortunate to get Dementia. He resided in assisted living from 2012 to 2015. He was a Christian and a sweet and kind person to everyone he met. He will greatly be missed by all he left behind.
