Faye and her husband, Peter Sr. moved their family from New York to Tucson in 1956. They were devout Catholics who volunteered in many aspects at their church including being Eucharistic Ministers.
Faye was a master seamstress, an amazing cook, and a talented decorator. Her greatest gift was her ability to make everyone she knew feel special. She looked for the best in everyone and loved unconditionally. She had a great sense of humor. She was well read, and always on top of current events. She enjoyed bowling, music, dancing, and playing cards and scrabble. An occasional trip to the casino always put a smile on her face. As long as she was in the company of those she loved, she was happy.
Being with friends and family gave her the most joy. She was blessed to be loved beyond measure by so many special friends who always demonstrated much affection to her. Her family will be eternally grateful to everyone who showered her with love, especially during her illness.
The family thanks Dr. Fredrick Van Hook, who tended to their mother’s health care for many years. He also compassionately guided them through the journey of her passing with the help of the amazing staff at Casa de la Luz Hospice. Thank you also to her care givers, especially Bonnie Harding.
Faye is survived by five generations of family members. Children, Mary Ann (Ben) Jacobs, Peter (Linda) Cinquemani, Jr., grandchildren, Elise Contreras, Brian (Lori Ann) Jacobs, Michael Jacobs, Melanie Sarbo, Marissa (David) Cronoble, eight great grandchildren, Nathan, McKayla, Brenna, Kendall, Lauryn, Anthony, Brandon and Brody, and a great-great grand daughter, Avery.
Faye adored children and generously supported those in need. Therefore, in lieu of flowers the family requests donations in memory of Faye Cinquemani to be sent to Angels in Autism, 3220 N. Craycroft Rd.,
A1, Tucson, AZ 85712.
