

He was raised in Tumacacori, AZ and graduated from Nogales High School in 1946.
He worked on his family's farm and at several ranches in the area as a ranch hand.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army and fought in the Korean war as a Machine Gunner, where he provided direct fire in support of infantry rifle squads/platoons/companies. Febronio's bravery and valor in the combat zone earned him the Bronze Star Medal.
Upon his return home, he married Armida G. Lowe. They started a family and moved to Tucson, AZ. They had three children, Diane (Luis), Betty (Peter) and Fabian (Patricia).
He worked in the construction field and was a proud member of his labor union.
He built his family a home from the ground up, with his own hands, where he lived until the day he died.
After many years he divorced and remained single until he met and married Virginia E. Gonzalez. They later divorced but remained good friends until she passed in 2014.
He enjoyed listening to music, had a love for animals and watching the U of A Softball games. He spent his days at the American Legion Saguaro Post or The Branding Iron, where he made many friends.
He told stories to his grandchildren about his adventures in his "little yellow truck".
He was an honest, hardworking and humble man.
On July 3rd, 2022 he was surrounded by his loved ones at his home, where they watched the strongest man they've ever known, take his last breath.
Febronio had 14 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great grandchildren and through them, his legacy will live on.
VIsitation will be on Thursday July 21st, 2022 at St. Margarets Church from 9:30am to 10:30am. Rosary begins at 10:30am with a mass at 11:00am. Burial to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
