

Frank J. Keller, the youngest of six, was born on June 8, 1930 to Johanna and Valentine Keller on a farm in North Dakota near Harvey, where he attended school. He died on September 17, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Tucson. He moved to Denver after high school and served in and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. Frank worked at The Denver Post from 1955, where he held several positions in the Circulation Department, until his retirement as Operations and Fleet Manager in 1987. Frank organized a Breckenridge, CO ski-a-thon for his relatives, which lasted several years. He also helped put together numerous golf tournaments in Casa Grande, AZ. Frank stream-fished in Alaska for salmon for more than 20 years with his brother Gabe, his nephews and friends. After moving to Tucson in 1997, Frank organized Wednesday night cocktail parties for the summer residents of Starr Pass. The parties continue to this day. He and his wife Nancy enjoyed traveling the world and they visited all seven continents. His latest hobby was making stained glass art. Survived by his wife Nancy, stepdaughters Betty Vander Linden and Katrina Lindell, two granddaughters, Sara Bernstein and Sophia Bernstein and numerous nieces and nephews and godchildren as well as Nancy’s family.
