91 years of age, born April 7, 1924, Albany, Minnesota passed away March 6, 2016 in Lincoln, California after several years of illness. Harriet is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Gertrude (Fuerstenberg) Wedel of Albany, Minnesota; brothers, Wallace and Wilbert; sisters, Cyrilla, Modesta, Adella, Dolores, Ellen and husband, Clifford Jerome Thompson. Harriet is survived by their six children, Sandy (Bob) Leonard Groza of San Jose, California, Arlie (Joanne) Clifford Thompson of Tracy, California, Cheryl (Terry) Crowson of St. Paul, Minnesota, Carrie (Ed) Haines of Lincoln, California, Ellen (Bob) Bowman of Marana, Arizona and Tammy (Mitch) Shetterly of San Jose, California; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, sister, Juanita Grayden of St. Paul, Minnesota as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at 10:00 am with funeral services beginning at 11am on Monday, March 14, 2016 at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 E. Grant Rd., Tucson, Arizona. Burial will follow in East Lawn Palms Cemetery.
