Helen R. Mixon 98, of Tucson, went home to be with Jesus on October 1, 2013. Born and raised in Twin Buttes, AZ. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Mixon; daughter, Elisa Apodaca; brother, Pedro Revello; sisters, Yolanda Revello, Connie Parker, Josephine Revello and Rose Samms. Helen is survived by her daughter and caregiver, Mary Mejia, as well as 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren. "Nana Goat" was a woman of kindness, compassion and so much love, she had a hug and a kiss for everyone she encountered. She was an endless source of strength, faith, and love, especially for her grandchildren. Memories of her happy smile and Nana Beans will be forever cherished. A Viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Rosary will be recited at 1:00 p.m., followed by a Service at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave., Tucson.
