Jack Ray Hensley died on June 20, 2023, in Tucson, Arizona. Mr. Hensley was born March 13, 1931, in Delaware, Ohio. He graduated from Fred B. Willis High School. He relocated to Tucson in 1951 to attend the University of Arizona where he earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in zoology in 1955 and 1957 respectively. He studied marine biology in Carmel, California, in 1961. Mr. Hensley was a member of the Beta Beta Beta Society. He was employed by the Pima County Health Department for 28 years, retiring in 1989.
