Laura, I am so sorry for your loss.  Joyce was one of a kind.  She and I had many, many happy times together.... and you were along on some of those times.  I know you miss her dearly, she is with the Lord now and I am sure she has a smile on her face.  Love, Brenda Lynch DeFord

Joyce was a wonderful soul she taught me many things and gave a lot of guidance and advice she was not only a friend but a second mother to me I called her mom and she called me ' the kid " I will miss her laugh and her voice but I know we will meet again in heaven love you so much mom joyce and may God be with Laura and the family during this time

I will never forget Joyce because she truely cared and once you became a friend you were one for life.  I worked with Joyce in Medical Records at HomeCare and her work was above reproach.  She kept the records up to date and knew where everything was.  She had a little statue of Jesus on her cart at all time with a piece of candy for Him.  I wonder if HE was waiting for that candy when she got there.  She did love the Lord and you knew it when you were around her.  She is with HIM now.

My thoughts and prayers to Laura,  Jason, Joshy, and Noah. Joyce was a beautiful soul..who loved her family and our Lord Jesus Christ. I'm blessed to have known such a wonderful person..and I take comfort knowing that she's no longer in pain and she's in the arms of Jesus. I will always remember her and love her.She will be greatly missed. May the Lord bring your family peace and keep you in his tender care.

My dear friend, I'll miss you so much but I rejoice knowing you are no longer in pain and can picture you running into the arms of our Lord Jesus.

Joyce was a very special and dear friend to me.  Distance nor time could ever keep us apart.  When I first started working at Homecare back in 1997, there was no doubt in my mind after meeting her that we would be long time friends...we both kinda belonged to the 'abnormal but not crazy' club.  I remember we would find some remote place like a vacant office, or the computer lab to eat lunch together. She has always been someone I could confide in and trust, as well as laugh and cry with.  I owe Joyce for helping me with spirituality...espcially one Thanksgiving in particular. She would always encourage me to pray and believe in the power of God and Jesus.  I had not seen Joyce since she moved to Arizona, but we talked and wrote to each other all throughout the years.  No matter how much time would go by, we both knew that our friendship was solid as a rock and that we would talk again one day.  I can't help but still feel the same way...one day we will be together again (at least I hope, because I have no doubt where Joycie is right now!LOL).  Fortunately, Joyce left me a message a few weeks before she passed away that I will forever cherish.  I loved my sweet, quirky beloved friend and will miss her greatly.  Rest in Peace my sweet Joycie Burcham, I will never forget you!!

I knew Joyce just about my whole life, way back from Cicero, Illinois. We are very sorry for your loss. It was very unexpected to hear this sad news. We had many memorable times together. Joyce helped us move into our house, we actually went ice skating and tried to cook a frozen turkey together, she liked the neck. She has always been a very interesting person and will be greatly missed by all.

Laura and Family, I am so sorry to learn of Joyce's passing. I will always remember her Elvis room when she was in Memphis.  My thoughts go out to all of you at this time.

We kept in touch for maybe 50 yrs. We had nice trips with you to Memphis,Graceland,Tulsa, & Dallas..Your one liners still make me smile, especially the one about the S O B !!>> I will never forget you and to your family I am so sorry for your loss.May you rest in peace.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss.  I met Joyce when we worked at Family Practice Center in Tulsa. She was at our wedding back in 1987! She was always an inspiration to me, and had a wonderful work ethic. She loved Jesus, and truly did everything as onto the Lord. As a result she did all things well!  I enjoyed her friendship, talking with her, and loved her laughter. I haven't seen her since we moved from Oklahoma in 1988, but have loved hearing from her every Christmas. We rejoice with her as we know she is home free with Jesus, enjoying being in His presence. May you, Laura, your husband and family be comforted at this difficult time. May God's richest blessings be on each of you. We are thankful for the hope that one day we will be reunited again.

Joyce was a precious friend for over 15 yrs to me . We laughed and cried together . I was just a Baby Christian  when I met her.
She often guided me in the growing process of becoming a mature Christian . Joyce was a strong person & personality . I told her one day she was like a wave ... She just rolls over you
So that once someone met her they were not the same afterwards ! 
She will be solely missed ! 
I thank God for having the privilege of knowing her in this life and look forward to reunion in Heaven .

So sorry to hear of the loss of Joyce.  She and my daughter were friends and she was wonderful guest at her baby shower.   I know her grandchildren and family are going to miss such a nice lady.

I met Joyce in 1995 when I came to work at Homecare.  I had the privilege to work with her in the Medical records room in my spare time.  Joyce was a very special person who loved Jesus above all.  I was sorry to see her go when she moved.  We got back in touch with each other in the last month and had a wonderful conversation about all the old times.  I thank 
God I was able to reconnect with her as we laughed like we used to.  I will miss her but I have no doubt where she is.  My thoughts & prayers are with the family.

My thoughts go out to the family in this difficult time.  Know she is looking down on you  protecting the family. I'm  sure she is having some coffee with Elvis, looking down telling him about the family. My deepest sympathy.

Without a doubt Joyce was the best Medical Records employee our Homecare Dept ever had. She could flip through those stacks of patient records, punch those holes and file like none other!....and you better not have made and errors if you were helping her, she knew it immediately. She was meticulous in her work many years ago when we worked together.
Joyce loved the Lord and was not shy about her witnessing for Him. ..."to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord". 2Corinthians 5:8 and I'm sure she is. She was a special lady and will missed. Rosemary, Columbia, SC

Although we have not seen each other for several years now since you left South Carolina I have thought of you many times. You showed us what it meant to have a great work ethic and also what it meant to be a true, honest friend. I will always remember fondly the cokes we shared to celebrate our May birthdays. Joyce, i know we only met a few months ago but you made an impacked on our lives.  Your laugh was wonderful to hear at Shabbat.  You truly showed the light of God as you glowed with peace in your heart.  We will forever remember your feisty personality.  Thank you for coming into our lives even if for a short time.  Absent from the body, present with the Lord.  Never stop laughing!  We love you.

Joyce, God truly gave me a gift of joy by bringing you into my life. I will treasure our time together for the rest of my time here on earth. You will never be forgotten, for you truly blessed those you touched, myself included. I will miss you greatly.
