She was always a Wildcat, graduating from Kansas State University where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. After moving to Tucson in 1975 and sending two sons to the University of Arizona, she became an avid Arizona Wildcat fan. She was a member of Skyline Country Club where she enjoyed golf and bridge. She also had a passion for travel.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Arlan. She is survived by two sons Gregg of Gilbert, Arizona and Blake (Elizabeth) of Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren Ashley, Katie, and Cody; a brother, William Nicholson; and a sister Beth Nicholson.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 E. Grant Road Tucson, AZ 85712.
