She was born on May 16, 1989 in Boston, MA and had lived both in the U.S. and in Asia during her lifetime. She attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, and the University of Arizona. In Boulder she especially treasured her time as a caregiver to elderly Alzheimer patients where she could apply her tenderness, compassion, and patience.
Julia was the loving and deeply loved daughter of Donald W. Peters, Tucson, AZ, and Karen R. Peters, Bloomfield, CT, and the sister of Emma R. Peters, Hamilton, NJ and Eliza L. Peters, Enfield, CT who will forever miss the J of their EEJ sisterhood.
She is survived by her caring step-mother Susan A. Peters, four aunts, four uncles, two great-aunts, and numerous cousins.
Julia was a gift. She is at peace now.
A service of remembrance for Julia will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 15, 2012 in the Koch Chapel of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, located at 1200 N. Campbell Ave, Tucson.
