Lilyan Nicole Holman

Lilyan "Nicki" Nicole Holman, age 56, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Nicki was born in Tucson on April 1st, 1967 to Joel Monroe and Sandra Kay Holman, both of whom preceded their daughter in passing.

Nicki is survived by her younger sisters and brother Joeline, Leighla, Denise, Joel, and Rachel. She is further survived by her two sons, Javier Favela Holman and Kevin Hernandez, as well as her grandchildren Mariano Favela and Alexander Favela.

Nicki is fondly remembered first and foremost for her devoted love for her family. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and second mom to all her nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews. She adored people and loved to work with children. Nicki was a homemaker, a caregiver, and a beacon of light and good humor to all those she met. She cared greatly for her animals, and a lifetime of challenges failed to ever dampen her spirit of the depth of her love for life. Nicki is recalled for her love of music, the Halloween season, and her incredible smile.

Nicki was our Number One, our big sister.

Nicki's absence is deeply felt in the hearts of all those who knew her. Her loss is greatly mourned, and her memory will live on, cherished by her family.
