Lois was preceded in death by her spouse Charles Coleman, married for 20 years; her father Rubin Murkue and her mother Lucille Scott.
Lois is survived by her sons Wesley Weaver and Vern Weaver, both from Tucson, Arizona; her grandchildren Shannon Bemis, Arron Bemis, Maliea Weaver, Eddie Weaver, and Patricia La Roque; her sister Martha Suhr of Poplar Grove, Illinois; her great grandchildren Adda Lynn, Landon, Ruby, Katie, Olivia, and Justin.
Lois enjoyed making ceramics and painting them, making custom wedding cakes, and working to help homeless Veterans. She worked as a teacher in the TUSD District in Tucson, Arizona from 1964 to 1984. She was a member of Abiding Savior Free Lutheran Church and an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Lois will be greatly missed and remembered forever.
A visitation for Lois will be held Monday, April 1, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A funeral service will occur Monday, April 1, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A graveside service will occur Monday, April 1, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
