Maria Dolores Hernandez

Maria Dolores Hernandez, our devoted grandmother, passed away on June 16, 2025, born on November 9, 1927, in Ruby, Arizona. She joins her Mother Maria , Father Francisco “kiko”Benitez, Sister Alicia Ballesteros, her husband John Hernandez, and family, including sons Albert and John "Sonny" and daughters Gloria, Irene, Arlene, and Patricia, in eternal rest. Grandsons Francisco Mendoza, Gilbert Armenta, and granddaughters April Valencia, Tina Hernandez, and great-grandchild Baby Juan Carlitos Hernandez, precede her in death. Survived by son Francisco "Pancho" Hernandez and a vast family of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. We honor Nana's life, filled with love, laughter, and cherished stories. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory and spirit will endure.

Thank you, Nana, for your unconditional love. As we look forward to our reunion in Paradise, we will continue to pray, love, and support each other. Sending butterfly kisses to our angels 👼

A memorial service for Maria will be held Friday, June 27, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 1950 Irvington Pl, Tucson, AZ 85746. A committal service will occur Friday, June 27, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A reception will occur Friday, June 27, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
