Maria "Chata" Jesus Martinez

Le sobreviven su esposo Rafael Martinez, y sus Hijos Maricella, Rafael y Jessie (Esposa) Dennice. Chata disfrutó de 8 nietos quienes fueron su orgullo y dicha. Tambien le sobreviven su madre Maria del Rosario Perez Meza y una larga lista de hermanos y sobrinos. Nosotros como su familia, lamentamos la pérdida de una mujer quien fuera gran influencia en nuestras vidas como esposa, madre, nana, hija, hermana, tia y cuñada.

Ella fue un ser humano maravilloso con un corazon amable y amoroso. Era nuestro motor para seguir de muchos de nosotros. Su compasion y empatia hacia otros iba mas lejos de cualquier comparacion de quienes sabian, conocian y valoraban su carisma en espiritu. Sus grandes pasiones fueron su familia y la naturaleza.

Su corazon amable fue siempre nuestra luz guiando el camino. Y nosotros sabíamos que teniamos alguien tan especial en nuestras vidas, que nos daba amor incondicional y siempre podíamos contar con ella.

Su amor y gusto por la música y por bailar nos cautivaba. Dedico su vida a amar y ver por sus hijos y nietos. Tambien disfruto de tantos nietos "agregados". Ella es “nana Chata” para muchos.

Estamos enormemente agradecidos por el tiempo vivido con ella y somos bendecidos de haberla tenido en nuestras vidas . Conocerla fue amarla y recibir a cambio amor. Seguiremos haciendola sentir muy orgullosa y amada por este gran legado.

De parte de nuestra familia queremos extender nuestra gratitud al equipo medico del departamento de ICU del hospital Northwest Medical Center por sus cuidados en su ultima semana de vida. También el Señor nos bendice con una gran familia y amigos apoyándonos y siempre a nuestro lado.

El velorio y rosario se llevarán acabo el Domingo 8 de Diciembre del 2024 from 5:00pm to 12:00am en Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.

La misa de cuerpo presente se llevará acabo el Lunes 9 de Diciembre del 2024 a las 11:00am en la parroquia Santa Mónica, 212 W Medina Rd, Tucson, AZ 85756. Inmediatamente después terminaremos con su sagrada sepultura en Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.

“Chata” passed away Saturday November 23, 2024, with her loving family by her side.

She is survived by (Husband) Rafael Martinez, (Daughter) Maricella, (Son) Rafael, (Son) Jessie & (Wife) Dennice. Chata had 8 grandchildren who were her pride and joy. She was also survived by (Mom) Maria del Rosario Perez Meza, and many loving brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. We as a family are mourning the loss of an influential woman to our lives: Our wife, mother, nana, daughter, sister, tia and sister-in-law.

She was a lively and wonderful human being with a great amount of love and kindness in her heart. She was the driving force for many of us. The amount of compassion and empathy she exuded is beyond compare and those who knew her valued and cherished her spirit. Nature and her family was a huge driving force for her. Her kind heart was always the torch leading the way for all of us and we knew we had someone special in our lives, loving unconditionally and always there to rely on. Her love of music and dancing was captivating. She dedicated her life to love and care for her children and grandchildren. She also had the joy of caring for many bonus grandchildren. She is “nana Chata” to many.

We are very grateful for the time we had with her and feel blessed to have had her as our own. To know her was to love her and the grace and dignity she showed was effortless. We will do our best to continue making her proud and carrying on her grand legacy.

On behalf of our family, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the ICU nursing staff at Northwest Medical Center for their care in the last week she was with us. God has also blessed us with an amazing family and many wonderful friends who have been by our side.

A visitation and rosary will be held Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 5:00pm to 12:00 am at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.

A mass will take place on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 11:00am at Santa Monica Parrish, 212 W Medina Rd, Tucson, AZ 85756. Immediately following will be a graveside service at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
