Marina Zuñiga

Marina Zúñiga Coronado Gil entered the gates of heaven on November 7, 2020, at the age of 90. The third of nine children born to Francisco Coronado and Luz Gil, she was born on March 30, 1930 in La Colonia Morelos, a municipality of Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico. For 44 years, she was happily married to the love of her life Guillermo Zuniga, who has held her place in heaven since December of 1994. She is survived by her seven children Luz, Norma, Guillermo, Laura, Marcos, Jorge and Francisco; 25 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Although she had so many grandchildren, she had the admirable ability of making each one feel as if they were most important; illustrating how big her heart was and how each grandchild held a special place within it. Though her family is heartbroken over her sudden passing, they embrace the impact she left upon them as profound and everlasting, ensuring that her memory will continue to live on for many years to come.

A celebration of her righteous life is to be scheduled sometime in the future.

Marina Zúñiga Coronado Gil entró por las puertas del cielo el 7 de noviembre de 2020, a la edad de 90 años. La tercera de nueve hijos de Francisco Coronado y Luz Gil, nació el 30 de marzo de 1930 en La Colonia Morelos, municipio de Agua. Prieta, Sonora, México. Durante 44 años estuvo felizmente casada con el amor de su vida Guillermo Zúñiga, quien ha guardado su lugar en el cielo desde diciembre de 1994. Le sobreviven sus siete hijos Luz, Norma, Guillermo, Laura, Marcos, Jorge y Francisco; 25 nietos, 41 bisnietos y ocho tataranietos.

A pesar de tener tantos nietos, tenía la admirable habilidad de hacer que cada uno se sintiera más importante; ilustrando cuán grande era su corazón y cómo cada nieto ocupaba un lugar especial dentro de él. Aunque su familia está desconsolada por su repentino fallecimiento, entienden que el impacto que dejó sobre ellos es profundo y eterno, lo que garantiza que su memoria continuará viviendo por muchos años más.

Se programará una celebración de su preciosa vida en el futuro.
