When she was a young girl she worked on the farm with her mother Minnie, brothers Leo, Lloyd, Wayne and sister Dorothy. She married Ed Berry in 1949 and she was a hardworking farmers wife. She then moved with husband and three kids to Arizona in 1960. She worked for R.E Darling making high altitude oxygen hoses for pilots and astronauts for spacewalks. She then worked for Hughes Aircraft until retirement.

In retirement she loved to travel, camp, and metal detect and dredge for gold. Family was always first in her life. If a baby was around, it always wound up in her arms.

She was the first to step forward if anyone in family needed help. Toward the later part of her life she was focused on Luna, her 2 year old great great grandchild and her dog buddy, along with watching all her other grandchildren grow.

A visitation for Martha will be held Friday, March 3, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 3, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A graveside service will occur Friday, March 3, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
