Mary Bessie Boutilier, 80 of Vail, Arizona went to be with our Heavenly Father on 20 October 2012. She died peacefully, at home while surrounded by many of those who loved her. Mary was born in Detroit, Michigan, on Christmas day 1931. She lived in Billerica, Massachusetts, Pomerene, Arizona, and for the past 25 years in Tucson/Vail, Arizona area. Mary was a loving, kind and generous mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and family matriarch who was loved by all those who knew her. She is survived by her sons Rodger (Ivy) Slarve of Strafford, VT; Alvin (Judy) Slarve of Sierra Vista, AZ; daughters Bobbi (Perry) Dunson of Vail; AZ, Nancy (Clay) Smith of Pomerene, AZ; Laura (John) Reed of Sahuarita, AZ; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers and cards, donations can be made to The American Cancer Society.
