Beloved mother, wife, grandmother, writer, dreamer & friend

MELODY S. CONWAY was granted her angel wings on August 2, 2012. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Melody had touched throughout her very memorable life.

She was born December 9, 1962, in Columbus, Ohio.

Melody’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of one’s existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her gentle smile, energy, kindness and love of life brought so much joy to her family, numerous friends and acquaintances.

Her interests included her Family, Traveling, Music, Reading, Movies, Scrapbooking, and English Dramas. She was a prolific, gifted writer and had written short stories and a novel. She hoped her novel would be published posthumously.

She worked many years for University Medical Center, Tucson, AZ as their Unit Administrative Coordinator. She loved working with the families of the babies in the NICU. She was one semester short of completing her Nursing Degree with Pima Community College.

Melody is survived by her loving family and friends: Raymond Conway, Husband, Tucson, AZ, Amanda Goodell (Warren), Daughter, South Jordan, UT, Ashley Kargel, Daughter, Tucson, AZ, , Charlotte Conway, Step-Daughter, Germany, Joshua Goodell, Grandson, South Jordan, UT, Emily Goodell, Granddaughter, South Jordan, UT, Patricia S. Neff, Mother, Tucson, AZ, Patricia M. L. Neff, Sister, Wickenburg, AZ, Michelle Devlin, Best Friend, Tucson, AZ & many friends & extended family. A public viewing is Thursday, August 9, 2012, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at East Lawn Palms, 5801 E. Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85712. A memorial service is Friday, 4:00 PM at East Lawn Palms, 5801 E. Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85712.
