"Merrill Lee Bowman (79) of Tucson, Arizona went to be with the Lord on August 19, 2018. He is survived by daughters Karen (Gary) Lebo, Lisa (Dewayne) Gamez and predeceased by daughter Cheryl Davidson; brothers Gene (Rita) Bowman, David Bowman, Bill (Cindy) Holland and predeceased by twin sister Carol Holland and brother Roger Bowman; grandchildren Amy (Gabe) McCormick, Christy Leonard, Justin Lebo, JD Thomason and Sandy Thomason; along with eight great-grandchildren.
He was born to Bernard and Marie Bowman on October 1, 1938 in Galesburg, Illinois. In 1948, his family moved to Tucson. In 1957, he married Sandra Bowman, who passed away in 1979. He was later married Joanne Bowman until 2015.
He enjoyed fishing and had a passion for rebuilding/restoring classic vehicles.
