MILITARY CAREER-Served briefly in the Navy. Served 20 years in the Air Force, and 13 yrs in Civil Service.
Enter into the service at an early age at the end of World War II in the Pacific, to serve his country. Was in the Military Occupation Forces in Okinawa and Tokyo.
He did Combat in the Korean War, during Battle of Pusan Perimeter.
He volunteered for secret missions while in Japan, for the Vietnam War.
He had continued his Education to become a Diesel Mechanic, where he was employed by Duval Mines and finally retired from the Civil Service working for the Motorpool at Smithsonian Institute.
Greatly loved and appreciated music. On his spare time he worked part-time as a D.J. at the D.A.V.
He loved his Family deeply and was a great provider.
He leaves to mourn and rejoice: His wife, Miyako Williams; Two sons Johnny Y. Williams, Wife Marcheta Williams; Myles H. Williams and Janis Hudson; One daughter Shizuko Sue Werner, Husband Frank Werner; Four Grandson, Donnell Bridges Jr. and Nichole Foutz; Kevin Bridges; Matthew Werner; Keith-Mycal Bridges; John Williams; Three granddaughters, Naomi Bridges; Rabena Moore ; Kavita Williams; Three great-grandson; Myles Bridges; Donnell Bridges III; Ayden Bridges; Five great-granddaughter; Zaire Rice, Husband Eric Rice; Tiara Mathis; Keiara Mathis; Antara Bridges; Aaliyah Bridges
