

She was born August 27, 1938 in Little Washington, PA. The daughter of James Albert and Grace Edna (Lowther) Main.
She married Herbert Wayne Simmons on January 1, 1959 in Tucson, AZ.
Survivors include: Two sons, James Wayne (Treva) of Sidell, IL and Jerry Lee (Kimberly) of Thomasboro, IL. One granddaughter, LaCinda Lee (Simmons). One great-granddaughter, Audrey of Sidell, IL. Two nieces: Cynthia Alice (Percell), Maddux (Terry) of Bisbee, AZ. Karen Ruth (Percell), Christenson (Steve) of Payson, AZ. Two nephews: Mark Lester (Lily) Percell of Phoenix, and Joel Paul (Rhonda) Percell of Payson, AZ. Five great-nieces and three great-nephews, all of Phoenix, AZ and Payson, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, both of her parents, her husband's parents, and two sisters: Alice Mae Percell and Joanne Main.
Nancy worked at United Samaritan Medical Center (Logan Campus) in Danville, IL for 13 years. She was also a licensed beautician since 1985. She retired August, 2001. Then moved back to Tucson, AZ from Danville, IL where she met her second husband, Gerald D. Quinlan. She got married November 20, 2005 after church services at Mission Valley Church of Christ in Tucson, AZ.
Services will be on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at East Lawn Palms Mortuary and Cemetery with the Officiating Minister of the Church of Christ. Visitation at the funeral home will begin at 9:00 AM, with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM. The graveside service will begin 12:00 PM at East Lawn Palms Cemetery.
