Naoma Ruth Long, age 93, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023. Naoma was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1929 to George E. Meyer and Leona Buckels, both of whom preceded her in passing.
Naoma met and married Linus L. Long, and spent 69 years happily wed until his passing. Naoma was devoted to their love, and wore her wedding band until her own time came; she and her beloved are reunited once more, watching over their loved ones. Naoma is survived by her son Terrance Long and daughter Torey Crandell (Long); she is preceded in passing by her eldest son Timothy Long.
Naoma is further survived by her grandchildren Aaron Crandell, Joshua Crandell, Kailey Crandell, Tiffany Raftican, Tyler Long, and Tiara Long.
Naoma is fondly remembered as a discerning and loving presence in the lives of those she knew. She will be recalled in the sight of a yellow rose, and her memory cherished in the hearts of her loved ones. Naoma will be dearly and deeply missed.
