

Nola Zorita Bevis Kochenberger, 64, passed away August 27, 2013 of early onset dementia, in Tucson, AZ. She was born to Ruth and Claude Bevis in Redlands, CA on November 2, 1948. She joined brothers Doler, Mickey and Bernard and sisters, Claudia all who passed before her. She moved from Redlands to Tucson with her mother in the early 1960s where she met and married George Kochenberger on March 1, 1968. They were blessed with three daughters: Kathleen, Wendy and Cindy. George passed in 1968. Soon she began a relationship with Steve Zene and together they owned and operated the popular night club, At The Hop. Steve passed in 1993.Then she met Frank Trenery, the love of her life. Nola enjoyed helping Frank with his business, Dans West, and she even took tap dance lessons. She really loved dancing with Frank in all the night clubs in Tucson. They both enjoyed traveling all over the world and went on several cruises. Nola enjoyed bowling for many years and was an avid reader. Nola is survived by her boyfriend, Frank; daughters, Kathleen, Wendy and Cindy; 8 grandchildren, Adrian, Timonie, Danielle and Nathaniel (Kathleen); Shane and Lacee (Wendy) and McKenzie and Addison (Cindy); and 1 great granddaughter, Tempest (Adrian) and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Desert Rose Heather Mortuary. Her ashes will be buried at All Faith Cemetery at a later date. A reception will follow at the home of Gus and Dona Myers (map will be available at the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested either a donation be made to the Dementia/ Alzheimer's Research or a tree to be plated in Nola's name.
