

Norma was born on November 5, 1940 in Fountain Hills, Arkansas to Eddie and Norma King Conway. She was the middle child of six daughters. Norma attended elementary school and middle school in McNary, AZ and later attended and graduated from Holbrook High School in Holbrook, Arizona. After high school Norma married Lamar Davis and they had three children Brenda, Lisa and Kevin.
She later moved to Tucson and worked as a teller at Southern Arizona Bank and Davis Monthan Federal Credit Union. Norma attended nursing school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse in Tucson and later received her certificate as a Registered Nurse. She worked at Thomas Davis Clinic and Tucson Medical Center. Norma met and married Thomas Glenn Jr in December 1975. They were married until his death on June 14, 2005. Norma was a member of Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church. She was a substitute adult bible study teacher which she enjoyed immensely until her health failed.
Norma is preceded in death by Eddie Conway (father), Norma King Reynolds (mother), Lisa Davis (daughter), Harlene Conway (sister), Betty Conway Spagnolacchi (sister), Jacqueline Conway Hughes (sister), and Cameron Gill (grandson). Norma leaves to cherish her memory; daughter, Brenda (Garey) Gill of Tucson, AZ; Son, Kevin Davis of Tucson, AZ; two sisters; Joyce Tolliver of Phoenix, AZ, Freddi Chappel of Tucson, AZ. Four grandchildren, TaDarryl “Darryl” Smith of Tucson, AZ; DeMario Smith of Derby KS; Brenton (Estella) Varner of Tucson, AZ, Ciara (Lindsey) Gill-Thorne of Bridgeport, TX; 11 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; two stepsons, Thomas Glenn III and Kenneth Glenn; stepdaughter Ernestine Richards. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. One special friend, her caregiver, Molly Flores who took care of her until she went to the hospital July 11, 2025.
Norma will be missed by many.
