Patricia Therese Vega

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Patricia Vega who passed away on July 27, 2024, at the age of 61. Patsy (Bubba) as she was fondly known was born on March 17, 1963.

She was preceded in death by parents Ernesto and Amada Vega siblings Gorgie, Reyes, Mary Ann.

Patsy is survived by her siblings Mercy (Armando) Ralph (Maria) Rachel (Roland) Gerie (Thomas) Margie (Richard) Lupe (Manny) her nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Patsy was a loving sister and friend, always willing to lend a helping hand and a listening ear. Her warm personality, infectious smile, and generous heart made her an instant favorite among all her nieces and nephews. Patsy had a passion for fashion but her ultimate passion was being a hair stylist. Patsy spent many years in Phoenix and gained many new friends and clients. Patsy’s love of doing hair led her to many special friendships including those with JCP girls. We are so grateful for all those ladies that loved and took care of her. Despite facing many challenges later in her life, Patsy never backed down and was resilient and fought through all her battles until the very end. Her unwavering faith in God was an inspiration to us all.

Her life will be celebrated on August 15th service at 8:30 am with memorial service at 10:00 am followed by committal service at 11:00 am at South Lawn Mortuary. We will miss her dearly, but we take comfort in the fact that she has finished her race and God’s word tells us that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We want to give a special thanks to Las Palmas Assisted Living and Agape Hospice for taking such good care of our sister Patsy.
