Patricia Marie Zimmerman

Patty was born in Anamosa, IA to Eleanor and Walter Farrington. Whom I am sure greeted her along with her husband Merle, foster daughter Raleigh and 3 of her sisters, (Samara, Iris and Carole).

She was the oldest of 18 children all born to Eleanor and Walter.

She was strong in her Faith and helped others often.

Patty married Merle A. Zimmerman on September 1, 1947. They had two children Steven A. Zimmerman Married to LaDonna (of Fosston, MN) and Roxann M. Zimmerman Cooke Married to Bear (of Tucson). She has 6 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter that will miss her very much.

They made Tucson their home in 1959. Patty worked for 10 years at the old Pima County Hospital in the kitchen holding various positions. In the early 1970's she obtained as Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy from Pima Community College. Patty then worked at Kino Hospital for the next 20 years as a Respiratory Therapist.

Services for our Mom, Aunt, Grandma, Sister and Friend will be, Friday January 23, 2015 at East Lawn Palms Mortuary.

Viewing will start at 1:30 pm followed by service at 2:00. All will then proceed to the gravesite for a floral presentation at 3:00pm
