Pauline B. (Peg) Franklin Peg was born November 29, 1923 in Three Rivers, Michigan and took her final breath July 22, 2012 in Tucson, Arizona surrounded by her loving family. Peg married the love of her life, Ellis in 1941 and in 1948 moved to Tucson with him and their son, Ellis Jr. Together they welcomed son, Richard the following year. Tucson was her home and she made it just that for everyone around her. Peg enjoyed various careers in her life but from her unparalleled passion for working with people, in 1979 a new career emerged in real estate. Peg was a million dollar seller just about every year but more importantly it was the connections with the people that meant the most to her. She sold her last house, last year at age 87. She will be remembered as a beautiful woman with a dynamic personality who always had the time to listen, to help, to make people feel welcomed. Everyone was family in her home. She was an incredibly strong woman to the end, in fact her last wishes were to celebrate. "Have a big party, I'm going to Heaven and what better reason is there to celebrate?" Preceded in death by her husband, Ellis L. Franklin and her granddaughter, Roxanne. Peg is survived by sons, Ellis Franklin Jr. and Richard Franklin; daughters-in-law, Theresa and Annette; nephew, Ted Patterson; grandchildren, Curtis, Rhonda, Leslie, Tiffany and Andy; 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Our family wishes to extend our thanks and gratitude to the wonderful staff at Hospice Family Care. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd. with graveside services to follow at 11:30 a.m.
