Raymond Oral Larkin went to be with his Lord, November 3, 2010. Raymond was born April 25, 1926 in Missouri. He left the farm during World War II to serve in the Merchant Marines. He came to Tucson in 1964 and had a successful career in the mining industry. He enjoyed construction and in 1979 became a working partner of Quahada Construction LLC. Raymond served many years as a Deacon in the Southern Baptist denomination, and was a member of Vail Valley Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports and family activities. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Inez Jean Larkin and children, Diana (Randy) Ginn, Daniel (Sheila) Larkin, Denise (Pastor George) Gomez, David (Lisa) Larkin; 12 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. A 10:00 a.m. Visitation and 11:00 a.m. Service will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL SOUTH LAWN. Interment to follow.
