Richard “Ricky” Acereto, age 58, passed away peacefully on Monday April 23, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Tucson surrounded by family he loved. He was born in Tucson, Arizona to Enrique Acereto and Angelina Salas Acereto on December 20, 1959. He was the youngest of five siblings. He pursued a career in construction and was respected for his plethora of knowledge in the line of work. Ricky was known to fill a room with laughter sharing his jokes and life experiences. He is survived by his three children, Arnold Rodriguez, Robert Daniel Acereto and April Michelle Sandoval; a sister, Elsa Paredes; and three brothers, E. Daniel Acereto, Arturo Acereto and Andres Acereto.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 19th at 9:30AM at Funeraria del Angel 7 E. University Blvd. The funeral reception will be held shortly after at Fraternal Order of Eagles 1530 N. Stone Ave.
