Richard is survived by his devoted wife, Clarissa, and his three sons, Daniel, Zayden, and Gianni Townsend, who were his pride and joy. He also leaves behind his loving parents, Del (“Pops”) and Lydia (“Momma Dukes”), his mother-in-law, Melinda, as well as his brothers, Mike, Nic, Brian and brother in laws Mark, and Anthony sister in laws Anissa and Drisa who will forever cherish his memory.
Richard was a proud and caring uncle to his nieces, Olivia and Julyzza, and nephews, Fernando, Brian Jr., Anthony Jr., and Legend, each of whom brought him great happiness.
Those who knew Richard will remember his love for family, his sense of humor, and the warmth he brought to every room. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and laughter will live on through all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The Townsend family takes comfort in knowing that Richard has been reunited with loved ones in eternal peace.
A visitation for Richard will be held Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
