Roger “Kik-er” Berryman, 66 years old, passed away peacefully with his family and friends by his side on August 9, 2023. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, James and Phyllis, Sister Brenda and her husband Wayne, bonus parents Jonnie and Mary Saltsman. He is survived by his loving son Jay Dee, favorite daughter in law Beth, grandsons Aerik and Damian, his sisters Mary and Meghan, and his nieces Lanita, Shannon, nephew James, a loving ex-wife turned great friend Minnetta, more great friends, Judy “Sunshine” and Jo An ”Lollipop”, and far too many friends to list them all, he was always the life of the party. Roger was born in Detroit, MI and moved to KY and AZ growing up before settling in AZ when he was 9. He graduated from Sunnyside in 1974 and joined the Navy, which he served 5 years. His joys in life were his KC Chiefs football, hunting, camping, being outdoors, and being a Mason and a Shriner. He especially loved his times working with children as a Sabbar Shrine Clown named Kik-er. He was in the floorcovering industry all of his life since his Uncle Paul taught him the ropes at 13. Roger grew up into the ultimate tough guy on the outside but had a heart of gold inside. He left his mark on anyone who knew him, until we meet again!
