

Rosemary Haux, age 86, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. She was born on February 1, 1939, and graduated from Wisconsin Dells High School. Rosemary built a life centered on love, laughter, and strong family bonds.
Rosemary was known for her warm heart, playful spirit, and wonderful sense of humor. She had a way of making people laugh and feel at ease, and her quick wit and joyful personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met. A devoted Elvis Presley fan, Rosemary found great joy in his music and proudly shared her love for “The King” with those around her.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Gene Haux; her son, Daniel J. Cornwell; her grandchildren: Lisa M. Remington, Daniel G. Cornwell, Querstin Groth, Dylan Cornwell, and Kayla Cornwell; and her great-grandchildren: Christian Remington (Araceli), Ethen Remington, Brooklynn Canovali, Ezzura Calley, and Sirinity Calley, along with one great-great-grandchild soon to arrive. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Marge and Gary Hamburg.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Simon; her father, Roy Heidel; her sisters, Arlene Nabor and Patricia Corning; and her brother, Kenneth Heidel.
She had a deep fondness for Bingo—especially the friendships she built there—and enjoyed spending time working on puzzles. Above all, Rosemary cherished time with her family and friends, filling every moment with laughter, music, and love.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 13, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Marana Veterans Cemetery, 15950 N. Luckett Rd., Marana, AZ 85653.
