Ruth Ann Woodfin

Ruth Ann Jackson-Woodfin was born on April 22, 1950, in Saline, Louisiana to Lenzy and Letha Jackson. They move to San Diego, CA when she was 2 years old and resided there until she was wedded to Robert E. Woodfin from Fort Wayne, Indiana on September 13, 1969. She supported him faithfully as his dear wife during 30 years of military service which took them from Lockbourne AFB to March AFB, RAF Bentwaters/Woodbridge, Grissom AFB and finally to Davis Monthan AFB, for his retirement on August 31, 1999. They have 4 Children Carletha Wright-Hawkins, Ganyka Taan Woodfin-Jones, Ashaan Robert E. Woodfin, of Phoenix, AZ., and Dustan Aron Woodfin. She also leaves a daughter in-law, Tisha Woodfin, a son-in law, Sheladon Hawkins, 10 Grand Children, Emauni Woodfin, Fabian Wright, Carriena Wright, Ciante' Jones, Haley Jones, Tiana Woodfin, Brooklyn Harper, Jordin Jones, Kalani Woodfin, Azure' Harper and two great grandchildren Nalyah Woodfin, and Jaleel Garry. She is preceded in death by her Father Lenzy Jackson, Her brother Jerry Mack Jackson, Her Mother Letha Bell Jackson-Otis, and her sister Regina Francine Jackson-Brown. She Passed from this world on April 16, 2022, at the Northwest Medical Center, Tucson, Arizona. She leaves behind her husband of 52 years, Robert E. Woodfin and host of family and friends. She had a radiant smile and eyes that shined like the full moon. She will be missed dearly by all that knew her. May the Holy and precious Lord have mercy on her poor departed soul. AMEN
