

SHERMAN CHARLES LEE was born in Vernon, Texas on September 22, 1926 to Earl Samuel Lee and Bernice Lavada Sims Lee, and died July 8, 2020 at the age of 93 years and 10 months. He and Patricia May Hines were married in 1944 and he enlisted in the Air Force during WWII. He worked for oil companies and was a Cub Scout Master in Texas until moving to Tucson, Arizona in 1963.
Sherman and Patti have three children: Gurumeet Khalsa, Nanci Yanes and Patricia (Trish) Zeligman. Also eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly, and was a hands-on grandpa.
Sherman worked for Truly Nolen Exterminating for 25 years in Tucson. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening, spending time at his Lakeside summer home, and watching cowboy movies on t.v. as well as Wheel of Fortune, his favorite.
Sherman is survived by his wife, Patti, of 76 years, his three children and their spouses, Nirvair Khalsa and Frank Yanes, Robert Rosales (former spouse of Trish), and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Lee, his parents and brother, Jimmie Lee.
Sherman’s outgoing and friendly personality attracted many friends wherever he lived. He was also a member of Desert Skies United Methodist Church. Sherman was admired as a kind and caring genuine Texas gentleman.
