Theodore A. “Marty” Martin, born to Robert and Irma Martin on October 10, 1949 in Sandusky, Ohio, left us on August 9, 2017 to begin his new journey after a valiant eight year battle with cancer. Beloved of his wife Suzanne; children, Lisa (Greg) Kist and Alexander (Laura) Zurfas; grandchildren Saralyn, Emma, Matthew and Reagan; sisters, Stephanie (Willie) Pagan and Robin (John Dierssen) Brigode, Tucson nieces Megan and Shannan Brigode; and brother-in-law Gordon (Toni) Goodnight; and several nieces and nephews throughout the States. Marty retired from a successful career with the VA and became a small business owner in Texas before finally retiring to Tucson. Marty was a truly unique person, he loved telling a good story and wore many hats. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran, a former Prescott Frontier Days/Rodeo Parade Commissioner, the Scout for the the local Buffalo Soldiers’ Chapter and a Range Master at the Southeast Regional Park Shooting Range. Family and friends will celebrate his life at a private memorial. Happy Trails Marty, we love you, until we meet again.
