He received an Engineering Degree from Ohio Mechanics Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Arizona. Tom worked for Burr Brown for 31 years, establishing one of the most successful domestic and international sales teams in the industry earning the title of V.P sales.
He is survived by wife of 58 years, Carol Fern, daughters Sharon Fern and Diane Fern, and grandson Casey Lane.
Private family services will be held at later date.
