Timothy Joseph Trager

September 2,1963 - March 28, 2023.

Tim was a highly decorated, 20 year, Air Force Veteran. He served overseas in Germany, Saudi Arabia and Bosnia, as well as stateside at Holloman AFB in Alamogordo, NM, Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, NV and Hill AFB in Layton City, UT. He was awarded many Medals, Awards and Commendations for his service, including the Purple Heart, the Gallant Unit Citation with Valor, the Expert Marksmanship Ribbon and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal to name just a few.

Tim was a kind, generous and humble man of God who loved to share stories of his childhood, his family and his military service. His hobbies included building and flying R/C airplanes and helicopters, fishing and HAM and CB Radio operation. He had made friends all over the world via his radios.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents, LaVerne and Darrell S. Trager, and Jerry Moore, sisters Chrystal and Paula, and brother Brian. He is survived by daughters Shannon (Jim) Pekar of Chesterton, IN, Sarrah (Mike) Presnell , Sherri Cole, and Sonni Trager of Brighton, CO, and Corinne Trager of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren Quinn, Colin, Sage, Levi, Summer, Remington, Summit and Steel; sisters Carla and Sheryll and brother Darrell Ray; extended family and many many friends.

A date will be set to lay Tim’s ashes to rest with a full Military Honors Ceremony and celebration of his life. This site will be updated as plans are confirmed or you may check with a family member.
