Victor Nabor Esparza, age 88, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023. Victor was born in Morenci, Arizona, in 1934 to Tiburcio Esparza and Herminia Nabor Rojas, both of whom preceded him in passing. Victor was born with a heart made for loving and a soul meant for living.
Victor was one of many siblings, among Isaac Esparza, Susan Esparza, Enriqueta Esparza, Lily Esparza, Jennie Rojas, Isidor Rojas, Ray Chavez, Mary Chavez, Manny Chavez, Stella Padilla, Linda Padilla, Robert Padilla, Mariano Esparza, and Julian Rojas. He has rejoined those who have passed before him in watching over those who have survived.

Victor’s grandchildren include: Jamar Esparza, Victor Esparza, Christopher Esparza, Angel Piñon, Alysha Clyke, Michael Esparza, Noelle Esparza, Elisa Padilla, AJ Padilla, Eric Barcelo, Emily Schroedl, and Ryan Schroedl; with great-grandchildren, Juliet Esparza, Deniro Esparza, and Samuel Esparza.
Victor was born into a large family, and is the patriarch, himself, of a large family. Victor’s family ties were not always tight, however, he learned to love those who were close, and developed love and remorse within his heart for those whom he held distant in his younger years. The known family sends their regards and condolences to the family they have never had the pleasure to meet.
In Victor’s professional career, he worked in construction - eventually an appointed supervisor. In life, Victor was full of vigor. Following retirement, Victor's time was dedicated to passions he built in health, wellness, and his understanding and practice of natural medicines. He was musical and loved playing the guitar, accordion, and other instruments. Victor enjoyed the bountiful, natural beauty of his home town in Tucson, Arizona. In his down time, Victor watched sports and loved to cook. He was fondly known to enjoy baskets of mixed nuts during Christmas time or football games. Within conversation, Victor would often express his coined phrase “Are you NUTS!” - makes sense!
Victor will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and the many lives he touched over the years.
