This wonderful woman will be certainly missed. She was a true Proverbs 31 Woman. A smart businesswoman, Virginia and her husband Willis came to Tucson from Van Wert, Ohio in 1960 to run Gospel Supplies, which was founded in 1947 by Willis’ sister, Pearl. Virginia worked in the store until she was well into her 80’s. She loved her customers and considered them as her friends. During this time Gospel Supplies became “Southern Arizona’s Headquarters for Christian Literature.” She was a fabulous cook and taught her family the art of cooking and baking, especially her incredible pies! Virginia was also a dedicated Sunday School Teacher. Virginia is preceded in death by her husband Willis Snyder, and her second husband Wayne Jenkins. She is survived by her 3 children, Doug Snyder, Dianne Felker (Sid) and Delores Maddox (Winston), 7 grandchildren, Tracey Cummins (John), Ryan Felker (Jill), Brooke Johnston (Alex), Samuel Felker, Shelbie Maddox Hurtienne (Brett), Winston Ashley Maddox (Tanita) and Hayley Eliza DePorter (Matt), and 10 great-grandchildren.
