He married Iona Meyer on May 24, 1953. Wayne retired from the United States Air Force as a CMSgt after 26 ½ years. He then went onto teach aircraft maintenance on the Learjet at Flight Safety in Tucson. He had a passion for woodworking.
Wayne is survived by his children Debra (Rick) and Dennis, his grandchild; Heather and brother; Max.
A 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at East Lawn Palms Mortuary and Cemetery with a graveside service to follow.
