William Robert Pyle “Bob”, 81 years old, passed in Tucson, Arizona on June 15, 2020. He was born October 23, 1938 to parents Osmant Kelly Pyle and Marie Curtis in Birmingham Alabama. William is survived by Robert Pyle, son. Jim Pyle, brother. Kelly Pyle, brother. He was predeceased by Mildred Hetfield, sister. Norma Osborne, sister. Marie Curtis, mother. Osmant Pyle, father.
William was a man of few words but a man of many talents.
William was a gifted artist and musician, helped build Stage 2 of the Saturn V rocket for Apollo 11, and was a lifelong Los Angeles Dodgers and Alabama Crimson Tide fan.
Services/celebration of life will be held at a later date in Alabama.
