Yvette Angela Lamay

Yvette Angela Lamay, age 54 passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 in Tucson Arizona. Yvette was born on September 28, 1970 in Texarkana Arkansas. Yvette attended elementary school at holmes ave in Long Beach California until second grade shortly after her mother moved the family to Tucson Arizona, where she excelled in academics. She attended Santa Rita High School where she excelled in track and field which led to a full scholarship to Bakersfield College. After completing college she returned home to Tucson AZ where she worked in the health field until she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2019. She is survived by her sisters Lashell Lamay, amd Lawanda Lamay. Her brothers Lavell Littleton, James Lamay, Cornell Littleton, Marcus Lamay, and Darryl Taylor. Her daughter Kayla Conley and partner Andre Conley. Her Aunts Darlener Snackleford, Beatrice McCowen, Betty Jones, and Elizabeth Williams. Her uncles Henery, Lee, Phil, Robert Frank and LeeRoy McCowen. As well as other extended family. Yvette is preceded in death by her mother Flossie Lamay, her father James Lamay. Her uncles Rosevelt Williams, John Williams, Ledel Williams, John McCowan, her aunts Dattie Bell, Mollie Bell and Vernice Weatherless.

A visitation for Yvette will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. Following the visitation will be a committal service from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
