Agnes Juanita Fuller November 25, 1923 - September 2, 2012 Agnes, 88, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2012, at NorFlor Manor Adult Family Home in Olympia. Agnes, known as "Mickey" or "Aggie" to many of her friends and family, was the fourth of five children born to Frank and Margaret DeBoer Nichols in Renton, Washington and grew up in the Olympia area. Agnes first met Joseph Fuller at an ice skating party. The couple married in 1940 and briefly resettled in Texas and California, while Joe completed his pilot flight training for World War II. Throughout their 63 years of marriage, the deep and abiding love they had for each other was self-evident. Shortly before her two daughters left home, she began working in the ladies wear department of the new South Sound Sears Store. She retired from Sears after 18 years. During this time she also took up golfing and swimming, enjoying both very much. Throughout her life, both she and Joe were very giving of themselves and enjoyed taking care of people. She and Joe loved their Ballroom dancing with friends, not only locally, but on several cruises as well. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, in December 2004; grandson, Greg in April 2004; her oldest sister, Katherine (Kay) Schmidt in January 2012; and earlier by brothers, Frank and John Nichols. Agnes is survived by her daughters, Joan Pulaski (David) of Olympia and Patti Prine of Bainbridge Island; and one sister, Margaret (Ken) Freise of Ajo, Arizona; many nieces and nephews; as well as five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. After her marriage, she converted to the Catholic faith and became a life-long member of Saint Michael Parish in Olympia. Agnes was an active member of both the Altar Society and the Rosarian Guild. She also loved her time spent as a Girl Scout leader for her daughters' troops. The family would like to especially thank the caregivers at NorFlor Manor for the excellent care she received during her stay there. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A Mass for Agnes will be held at Saint Michael Parish at 12:00 noon on September 14, 2012 followed by a luncheon in the church gathering space. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fisher House or a charity of your choice in memory of our Mother.
